My name is Chelsea, and I am the founder of Storybook Preschool. I began my career working with children in a daycare facility in 2013, which motivated me to open up my own preschool facility in 2016 with a focus on stimulating the minds of young children using the S.T.E.A.M program. My teaching philosophy nurtures the whole child and supports their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth while providing a warm, safe, and friendly environment to thrive. This is where "Their Story" begins!
Hello, I'm Christina, the Director and Teacher at Storybook Preschool. Although many now know me as Grandma, I find immense joy in engaging with children, nurturing them with love, and creating dynamic learning experiences. My approach at Storybook Preschool mirrors the care and guidance I provide my own grandchildren, focusing on values, self-esteem, and leadership. As a fourth-generation Oregonian, my enduring love for the outdoors fills me with pride and joy. In my previous career in the travel industry, I promoted destinations such as Mexico and Europe. However, my passion for the simple pleasures led me to discover birding, where I've delighted in spotting 1,205 species. Fulfilling my daughter's vision, I partnered with her to establish a preschool in Lake Oswego. Our program flourishes in a cozy, home-like environment designed within a preschool framework. This endeavor truly encapsulates my lifelong passion!
Hello friends and families! My name is Charity, and I have a bachelor's degree in psychology. I’ve been working with children for about five years. My future goal is to use my psychology degree to work in education administration with kids of all ages. I love working with kids because not only do they represent our future generations, but they also inspire me to be more open-minded about the world! Hopefully, I will get to meet you all in person!

When I’m not teaching, I’m playing tennis, reading or hanging out with my cat, Blu
I have always loved spending time with children. I have always found joy in listening to their amusing stories and observing their unique personalities. This passion for being around children naturally led me to pursue a career in teaching, a role I deeply cherish. In my experience, children have a unique way of viewing the world, and their boundless curiosity and enthusiasm are truly inspiring. I find great fulfillment in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where they can explore, learn, and grow. Witnessing their progress and being a part of their developmental journey is incredibly rewarding. Helping and caring for children brings me immense satisfaction every day, and I am dedicated to making a positive impact on their lives through education.
